Frontwave Credit Union, along with support of the Frontwave Foundation, is proud to host our Spring Pet Adoption Event on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at our Oceanside Headquarters. This event is all about creating connections, spreading joy, and helping pets find their forever homes. Whether you’re ready to adopt or simply want to support an incredible cause, we invite you to join us for a day filled with community spirit, friendly faces, and plenty of wagging tails.

Event Highlights

Adoption Fee Support

We’re helping to remove barriers to adoption by contributing $100 toward the adoption fee for every pet adopted during the event.

Rescue Donations

For every adoption, the Frontwave Foundation will also donate $100 to the rescue organization that cared for the pet. Your new companion comes with the added joy of knowing you helped support a great cause.

Local Animal Rescues

We’re proud to work with these incredible local rescues and foster parents, each committed to saving lives and finding loving homes for animals in need:

• Labs and More: One of Southern California’s largest dog rescues, focused on saving shelter dogs across the region.
• Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue: A volunteer-run organization rescuing dogs from San Diego and Baja.
• A New Life Rescue: Providing shelter, love, and healing to dogs facing severe abuse and neglect.
• Friends of Cats: A no-kill cat shelter in El Cajon supporting abandoned and surrendered cats.
• Amazing Strays Rescue: All-breed rescue working to place at-risk dogs and cats in loving homes.
• San Diego House Rabbit Society: Advocating for the rescue, care, and adoption of pet rabbits.
• Sunrise Rescue: San Diego and Orange County-based non-profit committed to saving cats and kittens from euthanasia and finding them safe, loving homes.
• Furballs Furever Rescue: Escondido-based non-profit dedicated to rescuing animals from the streets of Mexico, severe hoarding situations, and high-kill shelters.

Food Truck Treats

No community event is complete without great food. While you mingle and meet adoptable pets, enjoy a meal from one of our featured vendors:

• Puras Papas: A local, family-owned San Marcos food truck serving up fresh, authentic Mexican eats for breakfast and lunch. Don’t miss their specialty—an extreme loaded potato that’s next-level delicious! 
• Aloha Ice Co.: A local Carlsbad food truck serving up authentic Hawaiian shave ice, poke, musubi, kalua pork, breakfast burritos, coffee drinks, and more. Bring your pup along—they’ve got pup cups too! 
• The Cali Food Truck: A local, family-owned food truck based in San Marcos serving up the best Cali burritos, fries, and nachos—plus all the classics like burgers, hot dogs, breakfast favorites, and more!
