  2. Fill it out with your Frontwave account details
  3. Submit it to your HR department or the federal agency handling your benefits

How to Transfer Money

Transferring funds between your Frontwave accounts is quick and easy with Online and Mobile Banking.

On Mobile:

  1. Open the menu in the top left
  2. Select Transfers
  3. Choose your accounts and amount, then confirm

On Desktop:

  1. Click the Transfers widget in the left menu
  2. Choose Quick Transfer for a simple transfer or Classic Transfer for more options
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your transfer

How to Receive a Wire Transfer

To receive a wire transfer from a U.S. financial institution, give the sender these details:

  • Receiving Institution: Frontwave Credit Union
  • ABA/Routing Number: 322274925
  • Phone Number: 800.736.4500
  • For Final Credit To: Your name and Frontwave member number

Important Wire Transfer Details

  • Processing Times: We process wires Monday–Friday before 2:00 p.m. PST. Transfers sent after this time process the next business day.
  • Same-Day Transfers: Ask the sending institution to submit the wire early to avoid delays.
  • Incoming Wires: We credit your account as soon as we receive and verify the funds.

⚠️ Protect Yourself from Wire Fraud

Never trust wiring instructions sent by email. Cybercriminals hack email accounts and send fake, convincing wiring instructions. Always:
✔️ Verify wire instructions in person or by calling a trusted, verified phone number
✔️ Double-check before sending money—never assume instructions are correct
✔️ Be wary of last-minute changes—fraudsters often alter details at the last minute

  • First-time orders: Some members must place their first order directly with Frontwave. Contact us to check your status.
  • Reorders: If you’ve ordered checks within the last three years, you can reorder online. Otherwise, start a new order through the product catalog on OrderMyChecks.com.
  • Payment: The cost for checks is $40 and is automatically deducted from your checking account.
  • Delivery: Orders print in 1-2 business days. Standard shipping takes 7-10 days, with expedited options available.

Power of Attorney (POA) Account Access

To grant someone access to a Frontwave Credit Union account under a Power of Attorney (POA), we must have the POA document on file. You can submit it by:

  • In Person: Visit any Frontwave branch

Processing & Verification

POA verification takes 48 to 72 business hours. Once approved, the attorney-in-fact will be able to access the account as authorized.

Courtesy Pay: Overdraft Protection When You Need It

Life happens, and sometimes your account balance doesn't match your plans. Courtesy Pay helps cover certain transactions when you don’t have enough funds, so you can avoid declined payments and extra hassle.
