Avoid Online Scams

As hard as you’re working for your money, scammers are working just as hard to steal it from you. They do this primarily through identity theft and imposter scams. Scammers will ask for your online credentials, social security #, verbal passwords, and even copies of your ID. Don’t ever give anyone your financial credentials, passwords, or personal information. And don’t ever send money to anyone you don’t know – particularly online or through online apps.

To avoid scams, here’s what you need to know:

• Never share your online banking credentials.
• Never share a one-time code, copies of your ID, social security number, or other personal information.
• Frontwave will never call, email, or text you to ask for your online banking login credentials or security codes. If someone asks for this information, it’s a scam.
• If you are ever in doubt call us, send us a secure email, or stop by one of our branches.
