We were thrilled by the success of Pawpalooza, our Spring Pet Adoption Event held on April 11, 2026. The event brought together the community for a tail-wagging day dedicated to helping furry friends find their forever homes.
We partnered with 9 local animal rescues and welcomed 18 vendors and food trucks, along with live presence from Rock 105.3 and 101.5 KGB, creating a fun and festive atmosphere for attendees of all ages.
The event resulted in 62 pet adoptions, helping dozens of animals begin new chapters with loving families. Frontwave Credit Union proudly sponsored $6,200 in adoption fees and the Frontwave Foundation contributed $6,200 in donations back to participating rescues.
We deeply appreciate the support of our outstanding Frontwave team, the Camp Pendleton Marines, caring foster families, and all the dedicated volunteers whose efforts made the event possible.
We’re still wagging our tails with excitement after the incredible turnout at our Pet Adoption Event on May 31, 2025! Hosted at our Oceanside branch, the event brought together Frontwave members and community supporters - and thanks to their enthusiasm and big hearts, over 70 dogs and cats were adopted into loving forever homes.
In partnership with 8 local animal rescues, Frontwave Credit Union proudly sponsored more than $7,000 in adoption fees, making it easier for families to welcome a new furry friend. On top of that, the Frontwave Foundation contributed an additional $7,000 in donations to support the lifesaving work of our rescue partners.

On December 7, 2024, we hosted our first-ever Home for the Holidays pet adoption event - and it was a heartwarming success! With the support of our amazing community and five local animal rescues, 25 pets found their forever homes just in time for the holiday season.
To help make these adoptions possible, Frontwave covered a portion of each adoption fee. We also gave back in a big way - donating 600 pounds of pet food to our rescue partners, thanks to $1,000 raised during our virtual pet food drive and a matching gift from the Frontwave Foundation. Together, we made a meaningful difference for pets in need. The event was filled with joy, gratitude, and plenty of tail wags - a true celebration of the holiday spirit!
