A Message from Our CEO, Bill Birnie

This Memorial Day, I invite you to pause with me to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This day is not about celebration in the traditional sense. It is about remembrance. A time to reflect on the cost of freedom, and to recognize the lives cut short in its defense.

As a retired Marine Sergeant Major, I carry the memory of those who served and never came home. I know many of you carry those memories too.

We honor them by standing with the families they left behind. By supporting the living. And by remembering—not just on Memorial Day, but every day—that freedom is never free.

Their legacy deserves more than a moment of silence; it deserves a life well-lived, filled with purpose, integrity, and gratitude. Even joy, because the lives they gave made ours possible. May this Memorial Day bring a quiet moment of reflection, and may we each find a way to honor, remember, and carry their legacy forward with humility, pride, and joy.
