Together we scared away hunger—thanks to you!

Thanks to your incredible support, our Scare Away Hunger drive was a spooky success! We collected more than 200 pounds of peanut butter, enough to make over 3,000 sandwiches for families in our community. Your generosity proves we can make a real difference when we come together.

Why peanut butter?

Peanut butter is a nutritious, shelf-stable, popular food that can make over 12 sandwiches per jar. However, it is costly for the Food Bank to buy. This year's peanut butter drive will be crucial in helping stock shelves with this valuable food for needy families. 

Who benefits from donations?

All donations will be distributed to North County needy families through the Food Bank’s direct food distributions and its nonprofit partners’ hunger relief programs. Learn more at https://northcountyfoodbank.org/
