Join Our Next Pet Adoption Event!

Frontwave Credit Union is excited to invite local rescue shelters to join us for Pawpalooza, our third annual Pet Adoption Event - a community-focused, tail-wagging celebration dedicated to helping pets find their forever homes. The event will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, and will welcome Frontwave customers, employees, and the local community, along with vendors, food trucks, and fellow animal advocates. We would love for your rescue to participate and be part of this feel-good day centered on adoption, connection, and giving back!

Why Participate?

  • Adoption Fee Support

    Frontwave Credit Union will contribute $100 toward adoption fees for each family that adopts a pet during the event.

  • Rescue Donations

    The Frontwave Foundation will donate $100 to your rescue for every pet adopted at Pawpalooza, directly supporting your ongoing lifesaving work.

  • Event Promotion

    Promoted to 130,000+ Frontwave members, employees, and community members through email, branch and community signage, television placements, and social media.

  • High-Traffic Event

    A curated Pet Mini Market featuring local pet-focused businesses will help drive attendance, increase foot traffic, and create a vibrant, adoption-friendly environment.

Logistics & Event Details

Frontwave Credit Union (1278 Rocky Point Drive, Oceanside, CA 92056) parking lot, featuring a large shaded area under solar panels.

  • Each participating rescue will be provided with:10' x 10' or 10’ x 20’ space.
  • One 6’ table
  • Two chairs

Dog pens will not be available. Shade tents can be provided upon request to support animal comfort.

  • Water stations for animals available throughout the event
  • Volunteers onsite to assist with refills and support
  • Porta potties, trash bins, and handwashing stations provided for guests and partners

  • Rescue setup begins at 8:00 AM 
  • Event open to the public from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM 
  • Tear-down begins at 1:00 PM

To support thoughtful placements, Frontwave will honor adoption fee support and rescue donations for up to two weeks following the event for pets who meet adopters onsite but finalize placement later.  Rescues will be asked to: 

  • Track qualifying adoptions in their adoption log
  • Submit final adoption counts and a W-9

Donation checks will be issued once documentation is received.

One of our key initiatives under Give360 is the Pets Place Program. Through this effort, we’re dedicated to promoting pet adoptions, supporting local animal rescues with food and supplies, and spotlighting adoptable pets in our community. Whether it’s providing essential resources, funding critical rescue missions, or helping connect pets with loving homes, our mission is to improve the lives of animals and, in turn, strengthen the bond we share with our community. 

The Frontwave Foundation

Frontwave Give360 represents the credit union’s all-encompassing approach to giving, prioritizing immediate impact through partnerships, donations, and community events that uplift and strengthen our neighborhoods.

Where applicable, the Frontwave Foundation enhances these efforts by providing additional resources and support. However, the Foundation primarily focuses on leading long-term, strategic initiatives - such as scholarships, financial education and targeted programs for under-served populations. These initiatives are designed to create sustainable opportunities and drive meaningful, lasting change in our communities.

Our Past Success

Our most recent Pet Adoption Event, held on May 31, 2025, at our Oceanside branch, welcomed 750 community members and resulted in over 70 dogs and cats finding loving homes. Partnering with 8 local rescue organizations, Frontwave Credit Union sponsored more than $7,000 in adoption fees, while the Frontwave Foundation contributed an additional $7,000 in rescue donations - directly supporting the incredible work of our rescue partners.
